February 18th is the start of Chinese New Year. It's out with the Dog and in with the Pig. (Blog editor is sad about that.) On the Chinese lunar calendar it is year 4705 (or 4706 depending on which geomancer you check with). Eat some noodles or some dumplings or, if you are lucky enough, some Nian goa and wish your neighbors and friends good luck. Personally, I am going to take the occasion to check out the new Chinese restaurant Little Szechuan that Dara raved about in last week's City Pages.Jet Li says "Gong hei fat choi"
